The steel cap is a structural element, usually located at the bottom of the tank (hence the name). A steel bottom welded to the tank creates its solid base. The shape of the bottom pan is selected depending on tank parameters, its purpose, as well as the type of substances stored or transported. We distinguish between conical, flat and ellipsoidal heads.
Steel bottoms are used in many branches of industry: in gas and chemical industries, in power plants, boilers, cisterns, cooling tanks and in food industry. They are also used as pipe plugs.
