Application: steel structures, machines, vehicles, agricultural machinery
Manufacturing: hollow sections manufactured as seamless or welded
Within the strength grades of the non-alloy steels, four qualities JR, J0, J2 and K2 are specified. These differ in respect of specified impact requirements, limits of values of various elements, with particular reference to sulfur and phosphorus, and the inspection and testing requirements.
Steel grades: S235JRH, S275J0H, S275J2H, S355J0H, S355J2H, S355K2H (non-alloy quality steels)
Steel designations for hollow sections of non-alloy steel
Within the fine grain steels, to qualities N and NL are specified. These differ in respect of the carbon, sulfur and phosphorus content and low temperature impact properties.
Steel grades: S275NH, S275NLH, S355NH and S355NLH (non-alloy quality steels)
Steel grades: S420NH, S420NLH, S460NH and S460NLH (alloy special steels)
Qualities JR, J0, J2 i K2 – hot finished
Qualities N i NL – normalized (normalized rolled)
Outside diameter: from 21,3 mm to 1219,0 mm (for seamless tubes to 660 mm)
Wall thickness: to 50 mm
Lengths: form 6 m to 12 m
– for outside diameter: ± 1%, min ± 0,5 mm, max ± 10 mm
– for wall thickness: 10%
for qualities JR and J0: EN 10204-2.2
for qualities J2 + fine grain steels: EN 10204-3.1
